駅前通りの家

​

「商業系地域」から「低層住居地域」へと用途地域が変化する駅前通り。

その並びにある計画地は、「用途地域境に立地する事」、「道路から一段高い地形」により、周りの建物と比べるとのびやかな佇まいで個性を主張しています。
建物の外形は、大容量の太陽光発電パネルを搭載する為に南側から北側にせり上がる「片流れの大屋根」、高度斜線や計画道路のセットバックラインなどを下敷きに、内部空間との取合いのスタディーを繰り返して形を導き出しました。

また、住宅が密集した地域でも自然光の入る良好な環境を維持するため、建設前に隣家の窓位置を全て計測して各フロアで視線のバッティングを微妙に避けながらコンパクトにプライバシーを確保したり、遠くに抜ける眺望の広がりを求めています。外部への視線や景色を切り取るための縦長の開口やドーマー窓などを配置して、通りに面した生活空間に表情を与えようとも試みました。

趣味の野菜作りのための温室、展望スペース、オーディオ鑑賞、ガレージ、仕事場など、「生活を楽しむ事」がテーマとなった夫婦のための住宅であり、内部はその大きなボリュームを切り分けながら、基本的な生活空間と温室や展望の場、仕事場が繋がっています。
幾度の操作により現れた「様々な方向への抜け」は、ダイニングから見上げると温室の緑越しにさらに空へと続いていたり、リビングからは上部の展望窓の開放感を感じられたりと、ゆとりを生みだしています。
また、内外の設えは現代的なデザインの中にクラシカルな雰囲気を融合させる事を試行しています。洋服で言うならば襟や袖口のレースやステッチなど、ちょっとした装飾をあれこれと思案するような事。主題ではない些細な部分が、いつの間にか空間全体の印象をつくりだすことも考察しています。

 

設備面では、都心部での大規模災害に対する備えも考慮、「9.73kwの大容量の太陽光発電パネル」「蓄電池」を採用する事により出来る限り自給可能な「オール電化」としています。

「電気式蓄熱床暖房」、「エコキュート」、「電気使用を可視化するためのHEMS」、「電気自動車用コンセント」等太陽光発電システムを最大限生かし、普段は余剰電力は「売電」、不足電力のみを「買電」し出来る限りエネルギー供給に頼らない計画としています。

The house on the station road

​

The station road which changes its category in the zoning system from “a pro-commercial area” into “a low-rise building residential area”.

The place for planning on the row requiring uniqueness with a taller appearance compared to the surrounding buildings because the location is on the boundary of the restricted zone and having a topography one step higher than the road.
The rough idea about the external form of the building is based on the one-sided stream roof rising from the south side to the north side to be equipped with a large-capacity solar-photovoltaic power generation panel, and a high slanted line and set back from the planned road. Then, we repeated a study of the internal scramble for the space and the derived form.

In addition, we　measured　all　the　window　positions　of next　door　before　construction　to　make　a good environment for natural light to come in, even in such a crowded area. By doing this, we tried to secure privacy while delicately avoiding batting eyes, and demanded the expansive view from a distance at the same time. We located a lengthwise opening or dormer windows to cut out the views and scenery of the outside and tried it to give a living space facing the street with an expression.

Regarding the house as for a couple who had a theme to enjoy life, we included a greenhouse for the hobbyist to make vegetables, a space for viewing the scenery, an audio system room for listening to music, a garage and a workshop inside, by dividing the large area into connected pieces for a basic life space, hobby space and workshop.
The stairwell, open to the ceiling space in various directions, which was realized by our discussions and examinations, evokes feelings of comfort and affluence, showing you a continuity beyond the greenhouse to the sky when you look up from dining, and a sense of openness and freedom when you look from the living room through the upper prospects window.
Also, we tried for internal and external means to let a classical atmosphere fuse with a modern design. If we use an example of cloth, they are such as the lace of a collar and cuffs or a slight decoration including the cloth stitching. We consider that the trifling parts, which are not the subject, created imperceptibly impressions of the whole space before we knew it.

 

With the aspect of facilities, we considered the preparation for a large-scale disaster in the inner city and adopted a large-capacity solar photovoltaic power generation panel with the capacity of 9.73 kW and a storage battery. Including the electricity-style heat storage floor heater, “EcoCute”, HEMS to visualize electricity use and an outlet for electric cars, we made maximum use of an PV system, and usually the resident sells surplus electric power and buys it only when in short supply, planning not to rely on usual energy supply as much as possible.
